PUBLIC SECTOR – GOVERNMENT

Our operations have been designed with flexibility in mind.  Often, we must make rapid responses to changes in scope and our highly skilled and experienced staff are professionally qualified to provide the solutions that government needs.

ALDOM Transport Engineering most recent government project was fabricating steel for the Department of Transport and Infrastructure (DTI) that we used to modify eleven truck bodies, making them into heavy-duty, mobile units fitted with their own power, crane, and pumping system.  The units were designed to be used by DTI personnel stationed on projects in remote areas of South Australia allowing them to have the utilities they need without depending on available infrastructure.

DTI then requested ALDOM Transport Engineering to design and manufacture eleven matching, heavy trailers with self-contained accommodation, fitted out with sleeping quarters, amenities, living area and fully operational kitchen.

We have also made mobile medical centres that have been used by Health SA in the APY lands and these units have even been exported to Papua New Guinea.  Units have been made for the South Australian Police Force and modifications made to units from the Metropolitan Fire Service and Country Fire Service.

So if you are interested in finding out what else ALDOM Transport Engineering can make, we encourage you to contact the management team, [email protected] for more information.
